
Bacardi Spiced Game Day Competition Terms and Conditions
1- All persons ('the entrants') entering the Bacardi Spiced Game Day competition agree that the competition rules as set out in these terms and conditions are binding on them.
2- Important notice:
2.1 These terms and conditions and competition rules contain certain terms and conditions which appear in similar text style to this clause and which:
● May limit the risk or liability of the promoter or a third party; and/or
● May create risk or liability for the entrant; and/or
● May compel the entrant to indemnify the promoter or a third party; and/or
2.5 All entrants participate in this competition entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these terms and conditions, the entrant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless the promoters Bacardi-Martini Inc, their directors, employees, and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries, and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the competition and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries, and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of any indemnified party.
2.6 Applicable Liquor Laws apply.
The competition is valid from 1 July 2024 – 30 September 2024. Entries close atmidnight on 30 September 2024. No late entries will be considered.
The competition is not open to:
4.1 Any director, member, partner, employee, or agent of, or consultant to Bacardi-Martini Inc who are the promoters of the competition, or any other companies forming part of the Bacardi-Martini Inc group of companies.
4.2 Any suppliers, service providers, or contractors of Bacardi-Martini Inc, being a supplier of goods or services in connection to the competition.4.3 Any spouse, partner, sibling, parent, or child of any of the above.
5.Participants can enter the competition via the following channels:

● Checkers in-store
● Checkers Sixty60 app
● Checkers Liquor
● On-consumption activations
5.1Entry mechanics for participants are as follows:
● Buy a 750 ML bottle of Bacardi Spiced at participating retailers (Pick n Pay Liquor, Checkers in-store, Checkers Liquor).
● Swipe your Pick n Pay smart shopper rewards card at Pick n Pay stores or your Checkers Xtra savings rewards card at Checkers stores to be eligible for entry.
Pick n Pay ASAP and Checkers Sixty60 app:
● Buy a 750 ML bottle of Bacardi Spiced.
● Stand a chance to win a foosball table.
Pick n Pay in-store and Checkers in-store:
● Buy a 750 ML bottle of Bacardi Spiced.
● Swipe your smart shopper card and stand a chance to win a Bacardi Spiced partywith you and 8 friends.
Activations:
● Buy a 750 ML bottle of Bacardi Spiced and mixer, and receive a token.
● Show your token to the Bacardi activators, and be entered into a game. Proof ofpurchase also guarantee’s entry into the grand prize.
● Challenge a friend, and stand a chance to win merchandise (t-shirts, moon bags,glassware, bucket hats).
● First party data (name, email, phone number, and location) will be collected fromparticipants at the activations.
● The collected data will be used for future communication and marketing purposes,including but not limited to, promotional offers and event invitations, from Bacardi-Martini Inc. and its affiliates.
6.Prizes
6.1 To be eligible to win the prizes, entrants must be natural persons residing in South Africa,be in possession of a valid ID, and be 18+ years of age.
6.2 Pick n Pay in-store and Pick n Pay ASAP winners will be notified by Pick n Pay.
6.3 Checkers in-store and Checkers Sixty60 app winners will be notified by Checkers.
6.4 Activation winners will be notified and given prizes immediately after the game matches on location.
6.5 The prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable as a monetary value. Grand Prize Terms and Conditions
● The grand prize at both Pick n Pay and Checkers is a Bacardi Spiced Game Day Party Package worth R50,000.
● The package includes:
o Food and drinks valued at R35,000 (breakdown: finger foods and canapésvalued at R10,000, soft drinks valued at R10,000, and Bacardi productsvalued at R15,000).
●The prize does not include:
o Any additional expenses incurred by the winner and their guests, such as additional food or drinks, transportation, or accommodations.
o Venue and venue hire costs
o Transport for guests to and from the venue.
7.Digital
● For digital consumers, the competition will be run on social media platforms, including Instagram, X (previously Twitter), and TikTok.
● To enter, digital consumers will be encouraged to create user-generated content showcasing how they "spice it up" with Bacardi.
● The user-generated content must include the hashtag #BacardiSpicedChallenge and tag @BacardiSA.
● By entering, digital consumers will be eligible to win one (1) Bacardi Spiced Rum hamper while stock lasts.Hamper Includes:1x 750ml Bacardi Spiced Rum Bottle 2x Bacardi branded glasses1x Bacardi branded t-shirt
● Digital consumers will be required to purchase a Bacardi product to be eligible to win.
● By entering, digital consumers acknowledge that their content may be used byBacardi as part of highlights and will be featured on the Bacardi social media pages.
● Bacardi reserves the right to use, reproduce, and distribute the user-generatedcontent for marketing and promotional purposes
